स पर्वतपरः श्रीमांल्लब्धपुण्यफलोदयः ॥ तदर्थमेव कृतवान् सुचिरं दुश्चरं तपः ॥ ५१ ॥
The glorious leader of mountains attained the fruit of his merits. It was for her that he had performed penance for a long time.

sa parvataparaH zrImAMllabdhapuNyaphalodayaH ॥ tadarthameva kRtavAn suciraM duzcaraM tapaH ॥ 51 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्मात्तमनुगृह्णाति भूधरेश्वरमीश्वरी ॥ स्वेच्छया पितरं चक्रे स्वात्मनो योगमायया ॥ ५२ ॥
The goddess blessed the lord of mountains. Through her Yogic Māyā and at her own will, she made him her father.
english translation
tasmAttamanugRhNAti bhUdharezvaramIzvarI ॥ svecchayA pitaraM cakre svAtmano yogamAyayA ॥ 52 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयदा गता सती दक्षं विनिंद्य भयविह्वला ॥ तदा तिरोहिता मंत्रा विहतश्च ततो ऽध्वरः ॥ ५३ ॥
When Satī rebuked Dakṣa and went away, the frightened and agitated Mantras too vanished. The sacrifice became hindered.

yadA gatA satI dakSaM viniMdya bhayavihvalA ॥ tadA tirohitA maMtrA vihatazca tato 'dhvaraH ॥ 53 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदुपश्रुत्य गमनं देव्यास्त्रिपुरुमर्दनः ॥ दक्षाय च ऋषिभ्यश्च चुकोप च शशाप तान् ॥ ५४ ॥
On hearing about the departure of the goddess, Śiva was angry with Dakṣa and the sages and cursed them.
english translation
tadupazrutya gamanaM devyAstripurumardanaH ॥ dakSAya ca RSibhyazca cukopa ca zazApa tAn ॥ 54 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्मादवमता दक्षमत्कृते ऽनागसा सती ॥ पूजिताश्चेतराः सर्वाः स्वसुता भर्तृभिः सह ॥ ५५ ॥
Because of this, the innocent chaste lady was insulted by Dakṣa. All the others were worshiped along with their daughters and husbands.

yasmAdavamatA dakSamatkRte 'nAgasA satI ॥ pUjitAzcetarAH sarvAH svasutA bhartRbhiH saha ॥ 55 ॥
