संहारकाले संप्राप्ते सदेवान्निखिलान्मुनीन् ।। लोकान्वर्णाश्रमवतो हरिष्यसि यदा हर ।। ३१ ।।

When the time of destruction arrived all the gods and sages O Lord, when You will take away the worlds of the varṇas and āśramas.

saMhArakAle saMprApte sadevAnnikhilAnmunIn || lokAnvarNAzramavato hariSyasi yadA hara || 31 ||

तदा कृते महादेव पापं ब्रह्मवधादिकम्।। पारतन्त्र्यं न ते शम्भो स्वैरं क्रीडत्यतो भवान्।। ३२।।

O Mahadeva then committing a sin such as killing a brahmin You have no independence, Shambha, therefore you are playing at will.

english translation

tadA kRte mahAdeva pApaM brahmavadhAdikam|| pAratantryaM na te zambho svairaM krIDatyato bhavAn|| 32||

अर्घीव ब्रह्मणो ह्यस्थ्नां स्रक्कण्ठे तव भासते।। तथाद्यनुगता शम्भो ब्रह्महत्या तवानघ।। ३३।।

O Śiva, the garland of the bones of Brahmā shines around your neck. Similarly, O Śiva, O sinless one, the primordial Brahmahatyā has followed you.

english translation

arghIva brahmaNo hyasthnAM srakkaNThe tava bhAsate|| tathAdyanugatA zambho brahmahatyA tavAnagha|| 33||

कृत्वापि सुमहत्पापं यस्त्वां स्मरति मानवः ।। आधारं जगतामीश तस्य पापं विलीयते ।। ३४।।

Even after committing a great sin, if a person, remembers you who are the lord and support of the worlds, his sin is quelled.

kRtvApi sumahatpApaM yastvAM smarati mAnavaH || AdhAraM jagatAmIza tasya pApaM vilIyate || 34||

यथा तमो न तिष्ठेत सन्निधावंशुमालिनः ।। तथैव तव यो भक्तः पापन्तस्य व्रजेत्क्षयम्।। ३५।।

Just as darkness does not stand in the presence of the sun, similarly the sin of your devotee does not stand but is wasted away.

english translation

yathA tamo na tiSTheta sannidhAvaMzumAlinaH || tathaiva tava yo bhaktaH pApantasya vrajetkSayam|| 35||
