रामेश्वरावतारस्तु शिवस्यैकादशः स्मृतः ॥ रामचन्द्रप्रियकरो रामसंस्थापितो मुने ॥ ४६॥
O sage, the incarnation of Śiva is the eleventh one. It was pleasing to Rāma and it was installed by him.
english translation
ददौ जयवरं प्रीत्या यो रामाय सुतोषितः ॥ आविर्भूतस्य लिंगस्तु शंकरो भक्तवत्सलः ॥ ४७॥
Duly propitiated by Rāma, Śiva who is favourably disposed towards his devotees manifested himself in the phallic image and granted the boon of victory to him.
english translation
रामेण प्रार्थितोऽत्यर्थं ज्योतिर्लिंगस्वरूपतः ॥ सन्तस्थौ सेतुबन्धे च रामसंसेवितो मुने ॥ ४८ ॥
O sage, the lord, implored ardently by Rāma and propitiated by Rāma stayed at Setubandha in the form of Jyotirliṅga.
english translation
रामेश्वरस्य महिमाद्भुतोऽभूद्भुवि चातुलः ॥ भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदश्चैव सर्वदा भक्तकामदः॥ ४९॥
The grandeur of Rāmeśvara in the world was wonderful and incomparable, yielding worldly pleasures and salvation and bestowing the desires of the devotees ever.
english translation
तं च गंगाजलेनैव स्नापयिष्यति यो नरः ॥ रामेश्वरं च सद्भक्त्या स जीवन्मुक्त एव हि ॥ ५० ॥
The man who performs the ablution of Rāmeśvara is really a living liberated soul.
