तदाहं ब्राह्मणार्थाय कलौ तस्मिन्युगान्तिके।। भविष्यामि शिवायुक्तः श्वेतो नाम महामुनिः ।।६।।

Then I went to Kali for the sake of a brahmin at the end of that age I shall become a great sage named Sweta endowed with Siva.

english translation

tadAhaM brAhmaNArthAya kalau tasminyugAntike|| bhaviSyAmi zivAyuktaH zveto nAma mahAmuniH ||6||

हिमवच्छिखरे रम्ये छागले पर्वतोत्तमे।। तदा शिष्याः शिखायुक्ता भविष्यन्ति विधे मम ।।७।।

Then O Brahmā, on the mountain Chāgala—the beautiful summit of Himavat, will be born my disciples endowed with tuft.

english translation

himavacchikhare ramye chAgale parvatottame|| tadA ziSyAH zikhAyuktA bhaviSyanti vidhe mama ||7||

श्वेतः श्वेतशिखश्चैव श्वेताश्वः श्वेतलोहितः ।। चत्वारो ध्यानयोगात्ते गमिष्यन्ति पुरं मम।।८।।

Those four disciples Śveta, Śvetaśikha, Śvetāśva, and Śvetalohita will come to my city by the Yoga of meditation.

zvetaH zvetazikhazcaiva zvetAzvaH zvetalohitaH || catvAro dhyAnayogAtte gamiSyanti puraM mama||8||

ततो भक्ता भविष्यन्ति ज्ञात्वा मां तत्त्वतोऽव्ययम्।। जन्ममृत्युजराहीनाः परब्रह्मसमाधयः ।। ९ ।।

Realising my unchanging real form, the devotees will become devoid of birth, death and old age and will meditate on the Supreme Brahman.

tato bhaktA bhaviSyanti jJAtvA mAM tattvato'vyayam|| janmamRtyujarAhInAH parabrahmasamAdhayaH || 9 ||

द्रष्टुं शक्यो नरैर्नाहमृते ध्यानात्पितामह ।। दानधर्मादिभिर्वत्स साधनैः कर्महेतुभिः ।। १०।।

O dear Pitāmaha, except through meditation I can not be seen by men by resorting to charitable gifts and sacred rites that bring about the bondage of Karman.
