तदङ्ग भस्मनामृश्य कृपया दीनवत्सलः ।। स द्वादशसहस्रस्य गजानां च बलं ददौ ।।४४।।

The lord, favourably disposed to the indigent, smeared his body with the ashes from his own body and gave him the strength of twelve thousand elephants.

english translation

tadaGga bhasmanAmRzya kRpayA dInavatsalaH || sa dvAdazasahasrasya gajAnAM ca balaM dadau ||44||
