एतस्मिन्नन्तरे तत्र गंगातो गिरिराड्ययौ ॥ ददर्श पुरतो भिक्षुं प्रांगणस्थं नराकृतिम् ॥ २६ ॥
In the meantime the lord of the mountains returned from the Ganges. He saw the mendicant in the form of a man standing before him in the yard.
english translation
etasminnantare tatra gaMgAto girirADyayau ॥ dadarza purato bhikSuM prAMgaNasthaM narAkRtim ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्रुत्वा मेनामुखाद्वृत्तन्तत्सर्वं सुचुकोप सः ॥ आज्ञां चकारानुचरान्बहिः कर्तुं च भिक्षुकम् ॥ २७ ॥
On hearing from Menā all the details he too was infuriated. He ordered his attendants to drive out the mendicant.
english translation
zrutvA menAmukhAdvRttantatsarvaM sucukopa saH ॥ AjJAM cakArAnucarAnbahiH kartuM ca bhikSukam ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमहाग्निमिव दुःस्पर्शं प्रज्वलन्तं सुतेजसम् ॥ न शशाक बहिः कर्तुं कोऽपि तं मुनिसत्तम ॥ २८ ॥
O excellent sage, no one could drive him out. He was blazing and brilliant like a big fire and could not be touched.
english translation
mahAgnimiva duHsparzaM prajvalantaM sutejasam ॥ na zazAka bahiH kartuM ko'pi taM munisattama ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः स भिक्षुकस्तात नानालीलाविशारदः ॥ दर्शयामास शैलाय स्वप्रभावमनन्तकम् ॥ २९ ॥
O dear, then that mendicant, an expert in different sports, exhibited his infinite power to the mountain.
english translation
tataH sa bhikSukastAta nAnAlIlAvizAradaH ॥ darzayAmAsa zailAya svaprabhAvamanantakam ॥ 29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशैलो ददर्श तन्तत्र विष्णुरूपधरन्द्रुतम् ॥ ततो ब्रह्मस्वरूपं च सूर्य्यरूपं ततः क्षणात् ॥ ३० ॥
Immediately the mountain saw him assuming the form of Viṣṇu, then the form of Brahmā and in a trice that of the sun.

zailo dadarza tantatra viSNurUpadharandrutam ॥ tato brahmasvarUpaM ca sUryyarUpaM tataH kSaNAt ॥ 30 ॥
