नन्दीश्वर उवाच॥ तच्छ्रुत्वा स मुनेः पुत्रो जपन्पञ्चाक्षरम्मनुम् ॥ मन्यमानो धर्मविघ्नम्प्राह तं कर्तुमागतम् ॥ २८॥

Nandīśvara said:— On hearing these words, the son of the sage considered them an obstacle to his austerities. Repeating the five-syllabled mantra he told him who had come to create obstacles.

english translation

nandIzvara uvAca॥ tacchrutvA sa muneH putro japanpaJcAkSarammanum ॥ manyamAno dharmavighnamprAha taM kartumAgatam ॥ 28॥
