शिव उवाच ॥ तपसाराधिता देवि ब्रह्मणा परमेष्ठिना ॥ प्रसन्ना भव सुप्रीत्या कुरु तस्याखिलेप्सितम् ॥ २६ ॥
Lord Śiva said:— “O goddess, yon have been propitiated by Brahmā, through his penance. Lovingly become pleased with him and fulfil his desires.”
english translation
ziva uvAca ॥ tapasArAdhitA devi brahmaNA parameSThinA ॥ prasannA bhava suprItyA kuru tasyAkhilepsitam ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतामाज्ञां परमेशस्य शिरसा प्रतिगृह्य सा ॥ ब्रह्मणो वचनाद्देवी दक्षस्य दुहिताभवत् ॥२७॥
Receiving that behest of lord Śiva with her bent head, the goddess became the daughter of Dakṣa on the importunity of Brahmā.
english translation
tAmAjJAM paramezasya zirasA pratigRhya sA ॥ brahmaNo vacanAddevI dakSasya duhitAbhavat ॥27॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदत्त्वैवमतुलां शक्तिं ब्रह्मणो सा शिवा मुने ॥ विवेश देहं शंभोर्हि शंभुश्चान्तर्दधे प्रभुः ॥ २८ ॥
O sage, after giving the unequalled power to Brahmā, the goddess śivā entered the body of Śiva. And lord Śiva vanished from the scene.
english translation
dattvaivamatulAM zaktiM brahmaNo sA zivA mune ॥ viveza dehaM zaMbhorhi zaMbhuzcAntardadhe prabhuH ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदाप्रभृति लोकेऽस्मिन्स्त्रिया भागः प्रकल्पितः ॥ आनन्दं प्राप स विधिः सृष्टिर्जाता च मैथुनी ॥ २९ ॥
Ever since then, the section of women created in the world, Brahmā attained bliss. Creation became copulatory.
english translation
tadAprabhRti loke'sminstriyA bhAgaH prakalpitaH ॥ AnandaM prApa sa vidhiH sRSTirjAtA ca maithunI ॥ 29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतत्ते कथितं तात शिवरूपं महोत्तमम् ॥ अर्द्धनारीनरार्द्धं हि महामंगलदं सताम् ॥ ३०॥
Thus O dear, the excellent form of Śiva, half-male and half-female that bestows auspiciousness upon the has been told.

etatte kathitaM tAta zivarUpaM mahottamam ॥ arddhanArInarArddhaM hi mahAmaMgaladaM satAm ॥ 30॥
