आर्तानां शरणाप्तानां त्राणं कुर्वन्ति पार्थिवाः ।। प्राणैरर्थैश्च धर्मज्ञास्तद्विना च मृतोपमा ।। २६ ।।
Kings protect the distressed people who seek refìige in them with their very lives and assets. They are the knowers of virtue. Without that they are like a dead body.
