ततः क्रुद्धो महादेवो वृषरूपी मदाबलः ॥ अस्त्राणि तानि विष्णोश्च जग्रास गिरिगोचरः ॥ ९॥

sanskrit

Then the infuriated Śiva, the highly powerful one in the form of a bull stood like a mountain and caught hold of all those missiles of Viṣṇu.

english translation

tataH kruddho mahAdevo vRSarUpI madAbalaH ॥ astrANi tAni viSNozca jagrAsa girigocaraH ॥ 9॥
