वृषेश्वरोऽपि भगवाच्छंकरो भक्तवत्सलः ॥ इत्थं कृत्वा देवकार्यं जगाम स्वगिरीश्वरम् ॥ ३६ ॥
Lord Śiva, favourably disposed towards his devotees, returned to his mountain after carrying out the task of the gods in the guise of a bull.
english translation
वृषेश्वरावतारस्तु वर्णितश्शंकरस्य च ॥ विष्णुमोहहरश्शर्वस्त्रैलोक्यसुखकारकः ॥ ३७ ॥
Thus the bull incarnation of Śiva that dispelled Viṣṇu’s delusion and caused happiness to the three worlds, has been narrated.
english translation
पवित्रमिदमाख्यानं शत्रुबाधाहरम्परम् ॥ स्वर्ग्यं यशस्यमायुष्यं भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदं सताम् ॥ ३८ ॥
This narrative is sacred. It dispels the harassment from enemies. It is conducive to the attainment of heaven, fame and longevity. It confers worldly pleasures and salvation to the good.

य इदं शृणुयाद्भक्त्या श्रावयेद्वै समाहितः ॥ स भुक्त्वा सकलान्कामानन्ते मोक्ष मवाप्नुयात् ॥ तथा पठिति यो हीदं पाठयेत्सुधियो नरान् ॥३९॥
He who listens to this with devotion and narrates this with purity enjoys all pleasures here and attains salvation hereafter. So also is the case with him who reads or teaches this to intelligent men.
