Shiva Purana
श्रुत्वा वाक्यमिदं घोरं मनुष्यहितवर्धनम् ॥ प्रत्याख्यातास्तु रुद्रेण देवास्स्वगृहमा ययुः ॥ ३४ ॥
After hearing these terrible words which are conducive to the increase of the benefit of human beings, the gods thus restrained by Rudra returned to their own abodes.
english translation
zrutvA vAkyamidaM ghoraM manuSyahitavardhanam ॥ pratyAkhyAtAstu rudreNa devAssvagRhamA yayuH ॥ 34 ॥
