ततः प्रसन्नो भगवाच्छङ्करो भक्तवत्सलः ॥ पपौ विषं महाघोरं सुरासुरगणार्दनम् ॥ ६ ॥

Then the delighted lord Śiva favourably disposed to the devotees, quaffed off the terrible poison afflicting gods and Asuras.
