Mahendra and other gods, the Nāgas residing in the nether regions came there. Taking gems with them many great oceans and rivers came there.

mahendramukhyA gIrvANA nAgAH pAtAlavAsinaH ॥ ratnAnyAdAya bahuzassasaritkA mahAbdhayaH ॥ 22॥
