अग्निशुश्रूषणरतः पञ्चयज्ञपरायणः ॥ षट्कर्मनिरतो नित्यं देवपित्रतिथिप्रियः ॥ ७ ॥
He maintained the sacrificial fires. He was devoted to the performance of the five daily sacrifices. He practised the six sacred rites every day. He was fond of serving gods, manes and guests.
