Shiva Purana
विज्ञाताखिलशास्त्रार्थस्सदाचाररतस्सदा ॥ शैवाचारप्रवीणोऽति लौकिकाचारविद्वरः ॥ ५ ॥
He understood the real meaning of sacred lord. He followed the conduct of the virtuous. He was highly skilled in Śiva ethics. He was the foremost among the knowers of worldly conventions.
