इति कृत्वा मतिन्धीरो विप्रो विश्वानरः कृती ।। चन्द्रकूपजले स्नात्वा जग्राह नियमं व्रती ।। ३१ ।।

After thinking like this, the intelligent brahmin, the contented Viśvānara took a bath in the well Candrakūpa and took the vow of the sacred rite.

english translation

iti kRtvA matindhIro vipro vizvAnaraH kRtI || candrakUpajale snAtvA jagrAha niyamaM vratI || 31 ||
