इति कृत्वा मतिन्धीरो विप्रो विश्वानरः कृती ॥ चन्द्रकूपजले स्नात्वा जग्राह नियमं व्रती ॥ ३१ ॥

After thinking like this, the intelligent brahmin, the contented Viśvānara took a bath in the well Candrakūpa and took the vow of the sacred rite.

english translation

iti kRtvA matindhIro vipro vizvAnaraH kRtI ॥ candrakUpajale snAtvA jagrAha niyamaM vratI ॥ 31 ॥
