शिवोत्सवेषु सर्वेषु चतुर्दश्यष्टमीषु च ॥ पठेत्प्रतिष्ठाकाले तु शिवसन्निधिकारणम् ॥ ४३ ॥

This shall be read during the festivals of Śiva, during the eighth and fourteenth Tithis, and at the installation of the idol. It then causes the presence of Śiva.

english translation

zivotsaveSu sarveSu caturdazyaSTamISu ca ॥ paThetpratiSThAkAle tu zivasannidhikAraNam ॥ 43 ॥
