हतो यद्यपि दैत्येन्द्रस्तथापि न पुरं सुखम् ॥ ययुर्देवा नृसिंहस्य ज्वाला सा न निवर्तिता ॥ २५ ॥
Though the lord of daityas was killed, yet the gods did not derive any pleasure. The fiery fury of the man-lion (Nṛsiṃha) did not subside.
