    दनुर्नाम दितेः पुत्रश्शापाद्राक्षसतां गतः । आख्यातस्तेन सुग्रीवस्समर्थो वानरर्षभः ॥ ४-४-१५danurnAma diteH putrazzApAdrAkSasatAM gataH । AkhyAtastena sugrIvassamartho vAnararSabhaH ॥ 4-4-15'Diti's son called Danu who had been cursed to live the life of a demon had said that Sugriva, the best among monkeys, would be able to locate her. ॥ 4-4-15॥

Here is his eldest son, popularly known as Rama. ॥ 4-4-8॥

    न द्वेष्टा विद्यते तस्य न च स द्वेष्टि कञ्चन । स च सर्वेषु भूतेषु पितामह इवापरः ॥ ४-४-७na dveSTA vidyate tasya na ca sa dveSTi kaJcana । sa ca sarveSu bhUteSu pitAmaha ivAparaH ॥ 4-4-7'He never hated any one nor did any one ever hate him. To all his subjects, he was like another father, the Creator Brahma. ॥ 4-4-7॥
