म॒रुत्व॑तो॒ अप्र॑तीतस्य जि॒ष्णोरजू॑र्यत॒: प्र ब्र॑वामा कृ॒तानि॑ । न ते॒ पूर्वे॑ मघव॒न्नाप॑रासो॒ न वी॒र्यं१॒॑ नूत॑न॒: कश्च॒नाप॑ ॥ मरुत्वतो अप्रतीतस्य जिष्णोरजूर्यतः प्र ब्रवामा कृतानि । न ते पूर्वे मघवन्नापरासो न वीर्यं नूतनः कश्चनाप ॥
We celebrate the exploits of Marutvat, the unrecoiling, the victorious, the undecaying; neither the ancients, Maghavan, nor their successors, have attained your prowess, nor has any one recent attained it.
english translation
उप॑ स्तुहि प्रथ॒मं र॑त्न॒धेयं॒ बृह॒स्पतिं॑ सनि॒तारं॒ धना॑नाम् । यः शंस॑ते स्तुव॒ते शम्भ॑विष्ठः पुरू॒वसु॑रा॒गम॒ज्जोहु॑वानम् ॥ उप स्तुहि प्रथमं रत्नधेयं बृहस्पतिं सनितारं धनानाम् । यः शंसते स्तुवते शम्भविष्ठः पुरूवसुरागमज्जोहुवानम् ॥
Glorify the first donor of precious treasure, Bṛhaspati, the distributor of riches, the bestower of great happiness upon him who recites or chants (his praise), who comes laden with ample wealth to his invoker.

तवो॒तिभि॒: सच॑माना॒ अरि॑ष्टा॒ बृह॑स्पते म॒घवा॑नः सु॒वीरा॑: । ये अ॑श्व॒दा उ॒त वा॒ सन्ति॑ गो॒दा ये व॑स्त्र॒दाः सु॒भगा॒स्तेषु॒ राय॑: ॥ तवोतिभिः सचमाना अरिष्टा बृहस्पते मघवानः सुवीराः । ये अश्वदा उत वा सन्ति गोदा ये वस्त्रदाः सुभगास्तेषु रायः ॥
Associated, Bṛhaspati, with your protections, (men) are unharmed (by foes), and become opulent and blessed with descendants; may wealth devolve on those who are genitive rous, and givers of horses, of cows, of clothes.
english translation
वि॒स॒र्माणं॑ कृणुहि वि॒त्तमे॑षां॒ ये भु॒ञ्जते॒ अपृ॑णन्तो न उ॒क्थैः । अप॑व्रतान्प्रस॒वे वा॑वृधा॒नान्ब्र॑ह्म॒द्विष॒: सूर्या॑द्यावयस्व ॥ विसर्माणं कृणुहि वित्तमेषां ये भुञ्जते अपृणन्तो न उक्थैः । अपव्रतान्प्रसवे वावृधानान्ब्रह्मद्विषः सूर्याद्यावयस्व ॥
Render transitory the riches of those who partake of enjoyment without giving satisfaction (to those who are eminent) by holy hymns; put apart from the sun those who perform not sacred rites, and who, though prospering in their posterity, are the adversaries of prayer.

य ओह॑ते र॒क्षसो॑ दे॒ववी॑तावच॒क्रेभि॒स्तं म॑रुतो॒ नि या॑त । यो व॒: शमीं॑ शशमा॒नस्य॒ निन्दा॑त्तु॒च्छ्यान्कामा॑न्करते सिष्विदा॒नः ॥ य ओहते रक्षसो देववीतावचक्रेभिस्तं मरुतो नि यात । यो वः शमीं शशमानस्य निन्दात्तुच्छ्यान्कामान्करते सिष्विदानः ॥
Send, Maruts, into darkness with (cars) devoid of wheels, the man who invites the rākṣasas to the food of the gods; (him also) who reviles me when offering praise to you; while sweating, he toils (to realize) vain desires.
