यदीं॒ सोमा॑ ब॒भ्रुधू॑ता॒ अम॑न्द॒न्नरो॑रवीद्वृष॒भः साद॑नेषु । पु॒रं॒द॒रः प॑पि॒वाँ इन्द्रो॑ अस्य॒ पुन॒र्गवा॑मददादु॒स्रिया॑णाम् ॥ यदीं सोमा बभ्रुधूता अमन्दन्नरोरवीद्वृषभः सादनेषु । पुरंदरः पपिवाँ इन्द्रो अस्य पुनर्गवामददादुस्रियाणाम् ॥
When the libations effused by Babhru had exhilarated him, the showerer (of benefits) shouted aloud in the combats; Indra, the destroyer fo cities, quaffing (the Soma), restored to him his milk-yielding cattle.
english translation
भ॒द्रमि॒दं रु॒शमा॑ अग्ने अक्र॒न्गवां॑ च॒त्वारि॒ दद॑तः स॒हस्रा॑ । ऋ॒णं॒च॒यस्य॒ प्रय॑ता म॒घानि॒ प्रत्य॑ग्रभीष्म॒ नृत॑मस्य नृ॒णाम् ॥ भद्रमिदं रुशमा अग्ने अक्रन्गवां चत्वारि ददतः सहस्रा । ऋणंचयस्य प्रयता मघानि प्रत्यग्रभीष्म नृतमस्य नृणाम् ॥
The Suśamās giving me four thousand cows, Agni, have done well; we have accepted the wealth, the donation of the leader of leaders rṇañcaya.
english translation
सु॒पेश॑सं॒ माव॑ सृज॒न्त्यस्तं॒ गवां॑ स॒हस्रै॑ रु॒शमा॑सो अग्ने । ती॒व्रा इन्द्र॑मममन्दुः सु॒तासो॒ऽक्तोर्व्यु॑ष्टौ॒ परि॑तक्म्यायाः ॥ सुपेशसं माव सृजन्त्यस्तं गवां सहस्रै रुशमासो अग्ने । तीव्रा इन्द्रमममन्दुः सुतासोऽक्तोर्व्युष्टौ परितक्म्यायाः ॥
The Ruśamās, Agni, have presented to me a beautiful abode, with thousands of cattle; the sharp libations have exhilarated Indra upon the breaking up of the (gloom-) investing night.
english translation
औच्छ॒त्सा रात्री॒ परि॑तक्म्या॒ याँ ऋ॑णंच॒ये राज॑नि रु॒शमा॑नाम् । अत्यो॒ न वा॒जी र॒घुर॒ज्यमा॑नो ब॒भ्रुश्च॒त्वार्य॑सनत्स॒हस्रा॑ ॥ औच्छत्सा रात्री परितक्म्या याँ ऋणंचये राजनि रुशमानाम् । अत्यो न वाजी रघुरज्यमानो बभ्रुश्चत्वार्यसनत्सहस्रा ॥
The (gloom-) investing night has dispersed with the dawn (upon the appearance of) Ṛṇañcaya, the rājā of the ruśamās; Babhru being summoned, going like a fleet courser, has received the four thousand (cattle).

चतु॑:सहस्रं॒ गव्य॑स्य प॒श्वः प्रत्य॑ग्रभीष्म रु॒शमे॑ष्वग्ने । घ॒र्मश्चि॑त्त॒प्तः प्र॒वृजे॒ य आसी॑दय॒स्मय॒स्तम्वादा॑म॒ विप्रा॑: ॥ चतुःसहस्रं गव्यस्य पश्वः प्रत्यग्रभीष्म रुशमेष्वग्ने । घर्मश्चित्तप्तः प्रवृजे य आसीदयस्मयस्तम्वादाम विप्राः ॥
We have accepted, Agni, the four thousand cattle from the Ruśamās; and the glowing, the golden ewer prepared for the solemnity, we who are wise have accepted it.
