म॒क्षू ता त॑ इन्द्र दा॒नाप्न॑स आक्षा॒णे शू॑र वज्रिवः । यद्ध॒ शुष्ण॑स्य द॒म्भयो॑ जा॒तं विश्वं॑ स॒याव॑भिः ॥ मक्षू ता त इन्द्र दानाप्नस आक्षाणे शूर वज्रिवः । यद्ध शुष्णस्य दम्भयो जातं विश्वं सयावभिः ॥
Hero, Indra, (your worshippers glorify) those prompt exploits performed by you in battle, (by you whoare) ever bountiful, when with your associate (Maruts) you destroyed the whole race o Śuṣṇa.
english translation
माकु॒ध्र्य॑गिन्द्र शूर॒ वस्वी॑र॒स्मे भू॑वन्न॒भिष्ट॑यः । व॒यंव॑यं त आसां सु॒म्ने स्या॑म वज्रिवः ॥ माकुध्र्यगिन्द्र शूर वस्वीरस्मे भूवन्नभिष्टयः । वयंवयं त आसां सुम्ने स्याम वज्रिवः ॥
Hero, Indra, let not our manifold sacrifices be unavailing, but may we all, thunderer, (through) your(favour) continue in the fruiton of these (our desires).
english translation
अ॒स्मे ता त॑ इन्द्र सन्तु स॒त्याहिं॑सन्तीरुप॒स्पृश॑: । वि॒द्याम॒ यासां॒ भुजो॑ धेनू॒नां न व॑ज्रिवः ॥ अस्मे ता त इन्द्र सन्तु सत्याहिंसन्तीरुपस्पृशः । विद्याम यासां भुजो धेनूनां न वज्रिवः ॥
May these our (praises) reaching you, Indra, be successful, doing no detriment (to you), so that,thunderer, we may obtain the benefits derivable from them, as (a cowherd enjoys those) from the kine.
english translation
अ॒ह॒स्ता यद॒पदी॒ वर्ध॑त॒ क्षाः शची॑भिर्वे॒द्याना॑म् । शुष्णं॒ परि॑ प्रदक्षि॒णिद्वि॒श्वाय॑वे॒ नि शि॑श्नथः ॥ अहस्ता यदपदी वर्धत क्षाः शचीभिर्वेद्यानाम् । शुष्णं परि प्रदक्षिणिद्विश्वायवे नि शिश्नथः ॥
When the earth which has neither hands nor feet flourished throught the acts of (devotion paid to) the adorable (deities), then you did smite down Śuṣṇa, circumambulating it on the right, for the sake of Viśvāyu.
english translation
पिबा॑पि॒बेदि॑न्द्र शूर॒ सोमं॒ मा रि॑षण्यो वसवान॒ वसु॒: सन् । उ॒त त्रा॑यस्व गृण॒तो म॒घोनो॑ म॒हश्च॑ रा॒यो रे॒वत॑स्कृधी नः ॥ पिबापिबेदिन्द्र शूर सोमं मा रिषण्यो वसवान वसुः सन् । उत त्रायस्व गृणतो मघोनो महश्च रायो रेवतस्कृधी नः ॥
Drink, hero Indra, drink the Soma; being excellent, harm (us) not, possessor of opulence; preservethose who praise you, and are affluent (in offerings), and render us rich with great riches.
