त्वं तान्वृ॑त्र॒हत्ये॑ चोदयो॒ नॄन्का॑र्पा॒णे शू॑र वज्रिवः । गुहा॒ यदी॑ कवी॒नां वि॒शां नक्ष॑त्रशवसाम् ॥ त्वं तान्वृत्रहत्ये चोदयो नॄन्कार्पाणे शूर वज्रिवः । गुहा यदी कवीनां विशां नक्षत्रशवसाम् ॥
Hero, Indra, wielder of the thunderbolt, you have animated those chiefs (the Maruts) to the slaughterof Vṛtra in battle, when (you hear) the mystical (praises) of the sages, the worshippers praising the might of the constellations.
