आ रो॑ह॒तायु॑र्ज॒रसं॑ वृणा॒ना अ॑नुपू॒र्वं यत॑माना॒ यति॒ ष्ठ । इ॒ह त्वष्टा॑ सु॒जनि॑मा स॒जोषा॑ दी॒र्घमायु॑: करति जी॒वसे॑ वः ॥ आ रोहतायुर्जरसं वृणाना अनुपूर्वं यतमाना यति ष्ठ । इह त्वष्टा सुजनिमा सजोषा दीर्घमायुः करति जीवसे वः ॥
(You kinsmen of the dead man), choosing old age, attain length of life, striving one after the other, howmany soever you may be; may Tvaṣṭā, the creator.
english translation
इ॒मा नारी॑रविध॒वाः सु॒पत्नी॒राञ्ज॑नेन स॒र्पिषा॒ सं वि॑शन्तु । अ॒न॒श्रवो॑ऽनमी॒वाः सु॒रत्ना॒ आ रो॑हन्त॒ं जन॑यो॒ योनि॒मग्रे॑ ॥ इमा नारीरविधवाः सुपत्नीराञ्जनेन सर्पिषा सं विशन्तु । अनश्रवोऽनमीवाः सुरत्ना आ रोहन्तु जनयो योनिमग्रे ॥
Let these women who are not widows, who have good husbands, enter (anointed) with unguent andbutter. Let women without tears, without sorrow, and decorated with jewels, first proceed to the house.

उदी॑र्ष्व नार्य॒भि जी॑वलो॒कं ग॒तासु॑मे॒तमुप॑ शेष॒ एहि॑ । ह॒स्त॒ग्रा॒भस्य॑ दिधि॒षोस्तवे॒दं पत्यु॑र्जनि॒त्वम॒भि सं ब॑भूथ ॥ उदीर्ष्व नार्यभि जीवलोकं गतासुमेतमुप शेष एहि । हस्तग्राभस्य दिधिषोस्तवेदं पत्युर्जनित्वमभि सं बभूथ ॥
Rise, woman, (and go) to the world of living beings; come, this man near whom you sleep is lifeless;you have enjoyed this state of being the wife of your husband, the suitor who took you by the band.
english translation
धनु॒र्हस्ता॑दा॒ददा॑नो मृ॒तस्या॒स्मे क्ष॒त्राय॒ वर्च॑से॒ बला॑य । अत्रै॒व त्वमि॒ह व॒यं सु॒वीरा॒ विश्वा॒: स्पृधो॑ अ॒भिमा॑तीर्जयेम ॥ धनुर्हस्तादाददानो मृतस्यास्मे क्षत्राय वर्चसे बलाय । अत्रैव त्वमिह वयं सुवीरा विश्वाः स्पृधो अभिमातीर्जयेम ॥
Taking his bow from the hand of the dead man, for the sake of our vigour, energy and strength, (I say)you are there; may we (who are) here, blessed with male offspring, overcome all the enemies who assail us.

उप॑ सर्प मा॒तरं॒ भूमि॑मे॒तामु॑रु॒व्यच॑सं पृथि॒वीं सु॒शेवा॑म् । ऊर्ण॑म्रदा युव॒तिर्दक्षि॑णावत ए॒षा त्वा॑ पातु॒ निॠ॑तेरु॒पस्था॑त् ॥ उप सर्प मातरं भूमिमेतामुरुव्यचसं पृथिवीं सुशेवाम् । ऊर्णम्रदा युवतिर्दक्षिणावत एषा त्वा पातु निॠतेरुपस्थात् ॥
Go to this your mother-earth, the wide-spread, delightful earth; this virgin (earth is) as soft as wool, tothe liberal (worshipper) may she protect you from the proximity of Nirṛti.
