अ॒यम॑ग्ने जरि॒ता त्वे अ॑भू॒दपि॒ सह॑सः सूनो न॒ह्य१॒॑न्यदस्त्याप्य॑म् । भ॒द्रं हि शर्म॑ त्रि॒वरू॑थ॒मस्ति॑ त आ॒रे हिंसा॑ना॒मप॑ दि॒द्युमा कृ॑धि ॥ अयमग्ने जरिता त्वे अभूदपि सहसः सूनो नह्यन्यदस्त्याप्यम् । भद्रं हि शर्म त्रिवरूथमस्ति त आरे हिंसानामप दिद्युमा कृधि ॥

This person, Agni, was your praiser, for there is nothing else attainable, O son of strength; holy is thehappiness derived from you, a triple defence; remove far from us, who are susceptible of harm, your scorching flame.

english translation

a॒yama॑gne jari॒tA tve a॑bhU॒dapi॒ saha॑saH sUno na॒hya1॒॑nyadastyApya॑m | bha॒draM hi zarma॑ tri॒varU॑tha॒masti॑ ta A॒re hiMsA॑nA॒mapa॑ di॒dyumA kR॑dhi || ayamagne jaritA tve abhUdapi sahasaH sUno nahyanyadastyApyam | bhadraM hi zarma trivarUthamasti ta Are hiMsAnAmapa didyumA kRdhi ||
