त्रिः स॒प्त यद्गुह्या॑नि॒ त्वे इत्प॒दावि॑द॒न्निहि॑ता य॒ज्ञिया॑सः । तेभी॑ रक्षन्ते अ॒मृतं॑ स॒जोषा॑: प॒शूञ्च॑ स्था॒तॄञ्च॒रथं॑ च पाहि ॥ त्रिः सप्त यद्गुह्यानि त्वे इत्पदाविदन्निहिता यज्ञियासः । तेभी रक्षन्ते अमृतं सजोषाः पशूञ्च स्थातॄञ्चरथं च पाहि ॥

(Devout men), competent to offer sacrifices, have known the thrice seven mystic rites comprised in you, and with them, worshipped you; do you, therefore, with like affection, protect their cattle, and all that (belongs to them), moveable or stationary.

english translation

triH sa॒pta yadguhyA॑ni॒ tve itpa॒dAvi॑da॒nnihi॑tA ya॒jJiyA॑saH | tebhI॑ rakSante a॒mRtaM॑ sa॒joSA॑: pa॒zUJca॑ sthA॒tRRJca॒rathaM॑ ca pAhi || triH sapta yadguhyAni tve itpadAvidannihitA yajJiyAsaH | tebhI rakSante amRtaM sajoSAH pazUJca sthAtRRJcarathaM ca pAhi ||

वि॒द्वाँ अ॑ग्ने व॒युना॑नि क्षिती॒नां व्या॑नु॒षक्छु॒रुधो॑ जी॒वसे॑ धाः । अ॒न्त॒र्वि॒द्वाँ अध्व॑नो देव॒याना॒नत॑न्द्रो दू॒तो अ॑भवो हवि॒र्वाट् ॥ विद्वाँ अग्ने वयुनानि क्षितीनां व्यानुषक्छुरुधो जीवसे धाः । अन्तर्विद्वाँ अध्वनो देवयानानतन्द्रो दूतो अभवो हविर्वाट् ॥

Agni, who are cognizant of all things to be known, ever provide for the subsistence of men, grief-alleviating (food); so shall you be the diligent bearer of oblations, and messenger of the gods, knowing the paths between (earth and heaven), by which they travel.

english translation

vi॒dvA~ a॑gne va॒yunA॑ni kSitI॒nAM vyA॑nu॒Sakchu॒rudho॑ jI॒vase॑ dhAH | a॒nta॒rvi॒dvA~ adhva॑no deva॒yAnA॒nata॑ndro dU॒to a॑bhavo havi॒rvAT || vidvA~ agne vayunAni kSitInAM vyAnuSakchurudho jIvase dhAH | antarvidvA~ adhvano devayAnAnatandro dUto abhavo havirvAT ||

स्वा॒ध्यो॑ दि॒व आ स॒प्त य॒ह्वी रा॒यो दुरो॒ व्यृ॑त॒ज्ञा अ॑जानन् । वि॒दद्गव्यं॑ स॒रमा॑ दृ॒ळ्हमू॒र्वं येना॒ नु कं॒ मानु॑षी॒ भोज॑ते॒ विट् ॥ स्वाध्यो दिव आ सप्त यह्वी रायो दुरो व्यृतज्ञा अजानन् । विदद्गव्यं सरमा दृळ्हमूर्वं येना नु कं मानुषी भोजते विट् ॥

The seven pure rivers that flow from heaven (are directed, Agni, by you; by you, the priests), skilled in sacrifices, knew the doors of the (cave where) the treasure, (their cattle), were concealed for you Saramā discovered the abundant milk of the kine with which man, the progeny of Manu, still is nourished.

english translation

आ ये विश्वा॑ स्वप॒त्यानि॑ त॒स्थुः कृ॑ण्वा॒नासो॑ अमृत॒त्वाय॑ गा॒तुम् । म॒ह्ना म॒हद्भि॑: पृथि॒वी वि त॑स्थे मा॒ता पु॒त्रैरदि॑ति॒र्धाय॑से॒ वेः ॥ आ ये विश्वा स्वपत्यानि तस्थुः कृण्वानासो अमृतत्वाय गातुम् । मह्ना महद्भिः पृथिवी वि तस्थे माता पुत्रैरदितिर्धायसे वेः ॥

You have been fed, (Agni, with oblations) ever since the Ādityas, devising a road to immortality; instrumental tuted all (the sacred rites) that secured them from failing and mother earth, Aditi, strove with her magnitude to uphold (the world), along with her mighty sons.

english translation

A ye vizvA॑ svapa॒tyAni॑ ta॒sthuH kR॑NvA॒nAso॑ amRta॒tvAya॑ gA॒tum | ma॒hnA ma॒hadbhi॑: pRthi॒vI vi ta॑sthe mA॒tA pu॒trairadi॑ti॒rdhAya॑se॒ veH || A ye vizvA svapatyAni tasthuH kRNvAnAso amRtatvAya gAtum | mahnA mahadbhiH pRthivI vi tasthe mAtA putrairaditirdhAyase veH ||

अधि॒ श्रियं॒ नि द॑धु॒श्चारु॑मस्मिन्दि॒वो यद॒क्षी अ॒मृता॒ अकृ॑ण्वन् । अध॑ क्षरन्ति॒ सिन्ध॑वो॒ न सृ॒ष्टाः प्र नीची॑रग्ने॒ अरु॑षीरजानन् ॥ अधि श्रियं नि दधुश्चारुमस्मिन्दिवो यदक्षी अमृता अकृण्वन् । अध क्षरन्ति सिन्धवो न सृष्टाः प्र नीचीरग्ने अरुषीरजानन् ॥

(The offerers of oblations) have plural ced in this (Agni) the graceful honours (of the ceremony), and the two portions of clarified butter that are the two eyes (of the sacrifice); then the immortals come from heaven, and your bright flames, Agni, spread in all directions like rushing rivers, and the gods perceive it (and rejoice).
