इन्द्रा॒वरु॑णयोर॒हं स॒म्राजो॒रव॒ आ वृ॑णे । ता नो॑ मृळात ई॒दृशे॑ ॥ इन्द्रावरुणयोरहं सम्राजोरव आ वृणे । ता नो मृळात ईदृशे ॥
I seek the protection of the sovereign rulers (= possessed of extensive dominion or shining very brilliantly), Indra and Varuṇa; may they both favour us accordingly.
english translation
गन्ता॑रा॒ हि स्थोऽव॑से॒ हवं॒ विप्र॑स्य॒ माव॑तः । ध॒र्तारा॑ चर्षणी॒नाम् ॥ गन्तारा हि स्थोऽवसे हवं विप्रस्य मावतः । धर्तारा चर्षणीनाम् ॥
For you are ever ready, guardians of mankind, to grant protection on the appeal of a minister such as I am.
english translation
अ॒नु॒का॒मं त॑र्पयेथा॒मिन्द्रा॑वरुण रा॒य आ । ता वां॒ नेदि॑ष्ठमीमहे ॥ अनुकामं तर्पयेथामिन्द्रावरुण राय आ । ता वां नेदिष्ठमीमहे ॥
Satisfy us with wealth, Indra and Varuṇa, according to our desires; we desire you ever near us.
english translation
यु॒वाकु॒ हि शची॑नां यु॒वाकु॑ सुमती॒नाम् । भू॒याम॑ वाज॒दाव्ना॑म् ॥ युवाकु हि शचीनां युवाकु सुमतीनाम् । भूयाम वाजदाव्नाम् ॥
The mingled (libations; yuvāku = mixture of curds and ghee; śacīnām, mixture of butter milk, water and meal) of our pious rites, the mingled yuvāku sumatīnām = (laudations) of our right-minded (= sumatīnām, priests, are prepared); may we be (included) among the givers of food.
english translation
इन्द्र॑: सहस्र॒दाव्नां॒ वरु॑ण॒: शंस्या॑नाम् । क्रतु॑र्भवत्यु॒क्थ्य॑: ॥ इन्द्रः सहस्रदाव्नां वरुणः शंस्यानाम् । क्रतुर्भवत्युक्थ्यः ॥
Indra is a giver among the givers of thousands;Varuṇa is to be praised among those who are deserving of laudation.
