Aśvins, cherishers of pious acts, long-armed, accept with outstretched hands the sacrificial viands.

azvi॑nA॒ yajva॑rI॒riSo॒ drava॑tpANI॒ zubha॑spatI | puru॑bhujA cana॒syata॑m || azvinA yajvarIriSo dravatpANI zubhaspatI | purubhujA canasyatam ||

Aśvins, abounding in mighty acts, guides (of devotion), endowed with fortitude, listen with unaverted minds to our praises.

Aśvins, destroyers of foes, exempt from untruth, leaders in the van of heroes, come to the mixed libations sprinkled on the lopped sacred grass.

dasrA॑ yu॒vAka॑vaH su॒tA nAsa॑tyA vR॒ktaba॑rhiSaH | A yA॑taM rudravartanI || dasrA yuvAkavaH sutA nAsatyA vRktabarhiSaH | A yAtaM rudravartanI ||

Indra, of wonderful splendour, come hither; these libations, ever pure, expressed by the fingers (of the priests) are desirous of you.

indrA yA॑hi citrabhAno su॒tA i॒me tvA॒yava॑: | aNvI॑bhi॒stanA॑ pU॒tAsa॑: || indrA yAhi citrabhAno sutA ime tvAyavaH | aNvIbhistanA pUtAsaH ||

Indra, apprehended by the understanding and appreciated by the wise, approach and accept the prayers of the priest as he offers the libation.

english translation

indrA yA॑hi dhi॒yeSi॒to vipra॑jUtaH su॒tAva॑taH | upa॒ brahmA॑Ni vA॒ghata॑: || indrA yAhi dhiyeSito viprajUtaH sutAvataH | upa brahmANi vAghataH ||
