एष प्रहारे व्यायामे निर्गमे पीडने तथा । संवाहनेऽसियष्टीनां कुन्तदण्डग्रहे तथा ॥ ५६॥

When the thumb of the Muṣṭi (fist) hand is raised upwards, it is known as the Śikhara hand gesture, as recognized by performers.
english translation
asyaiva tu yadA muSTerUrdhvoGguSThaH prayujyate । hastaH sa zikharo nAma tadA jJeyaH prayoktRbhiH ॥ 57॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरश्मिकुशाङ्कुशधनुषां तोमरशक्तिप्रमोक्षणे चैव । अधरोष्ठपादरञ्जनमलकस्योत्क्षेपणं चैव ॥ ५८॥
It is used to represent reins, a noose, a goad, a bow, the release of a javelin (tomara) or a spear (śakti), as well as applying color to the lower lip and feet, and raising a lock of hair.

When the forefinger (index finger) of this very Śikhara hand is bent and pressed by the thumb, it is then known as Kapittha.

With this hand (Kapittha), weapons such as sword, bow, discus, javelin, spear, mace, spike, thunderbolt, and arrows should be represented. It is also used to depict truth and wholesome deeds.
