स्तम्भानां स्थापनं कार्यं प्राप्ते सूर्योदये शुभे । प्रथमे ब्राह्मणस्तम्भे सर्पिस्सर्षपसंस्कृतः ॥ ४६॥

The installation of the pillars (stambhānāṃ sthāpana) should be performed at an auspicious time, after the sunrise. In the first pillar (brāhmaṇa-stambhe), ghee (sarpi) mixed with mustard (sarṣapa) should be used for the consecration.
english translation
stambhAnAM sthApanaM kAryaM prApte sUryodaye zubhe | prathame brAhmaNastambhe sarpissarSapasaMskRtaH || 46||

The procedure for all the pillars (sarvashuklo vidhiḥ) should be done with purity. For the consecration of the Kshatriya pillar (kṣatriya-stambhe), one should offer a mixture of clothing (vastra) and garlands (mālya) along with anointment (ulepanam).

sarvazuklo vidhiH kAryo dadyAtpAyasameva ca | tatazca kSatriyastambhe vastramAlyAnulepanam || 47||

The offering of all red (sārva raktaṃ) should be given to the Brahmins (dwijebhyaśca gudaudanam). For the Vaishya pillar (vaiśya-stambhe), the procedure should be carried out in the western or northern directions (digbhāge paścimottare).

sarva raktaM pradAtavyaM dvijebhyazca guDaudanam | vaizyastambhe vidhiH kAryo digbhAge pazcimottare || 48||
