सर्वं प्रीतं प्रदातव्यं द्विजेभ्यश्च घृतौदनम् । शूद्रस्तम्भे विधिः कार्यः सम्यक्पूर्वोत्तराश्रये ॥ ४९॥
All should be offered with joy, and to the Brahmins, ghee and rice should be given. For the Shudra pillar, the procedure should be performed with proper care, in the direction of the east or north.
