निक्षिपेत्कनकं मूले कर्णाभरणसंश्रयम् । ताम्रं चाधः प्रदातव्यं स्तम्भे क्षत्रियसंज्ञके ॥ ५१॥
Gold should be placed at the base, accompanied by ear ornaments, and copper should be offered below for the pillar designated for the Kshatriya.

वैश्यस्तम्भस्य मूले तु रजतं सम्प्रदापयेत् । शूद्रस्तम्भस्य मूले तु दद्यादायसमेव च ॥ ५२॥
At the base of the Vaishya pillar, silver should be offered, and at the base of the Shudra pillar, copper should be given.
english translation
सर्वेष्वेव तु निक्षेप्यं स्तम्भमूलेषु काञ्चनम् । स्वस्तिपुण्याहघोषेण जयशब्देन चैव हि ॥ ५३॥
In all pillars, gold should be placed at their bases, accompanied by the auspicious chanting of "Swasti" and the sound of the victory cry.

स्तम्भानां स्थापनं कार्यं पुष्पमालापुरस्कृतम् । रत्नदानैः सगोदानैर्वस्त्रदानैरनल्पकैः ॥ ५४॥
The installation of the pillars should be accompanied by the offering of garlands of flowers, along with the donation of jewels, cows, and garments in ample quantities.

ब्राह्मणांस्तर्पयित्वा तु स्तम्भानुत्थापयेत्ततः । अचलं चाप्यकम्पञ्च तथैवावलितं पुनः ॥ ५५॥
After satisfying the Brahmins, the pillars should be erected. They should be steady and unmoving, and likewise, they should be properly aligned again.
