अपरे दशसाहस्रा दविस तावन्तस तथापरे तेषां गॊसंख्य आसं वै तन्तिपालेति मां विदुः ॥ ४-९-९ ॥

sanskrit

'There were others—two groups of ten thousand each, and so on. I belonged to those herds, and thus they called me Tantripala.' ॥ 4-9-9 ॥

english translation

apare dazasAhasrA davisa tAvantasa tathApare teSAM gòsaMkhya AsaM vai tantipAleti mAM viduH ॥ 4-9-9 ॥
