छन्नम आयॊधनं सर्वं शरीरैर गतचेतसाम गजाश्वसादिभिस तत्र शितबाणात्त जीवितैः ।। ४-५७-८ ।।

sanskrit

'The field was soon strewn with the corpses of warriors on elephants and horses, all mangled by the shafts of Partha, shot with great force, like the striking of hissing serpents.' ।। 4-57-8 ।।

english translation

channama AyòdhanaM sarvaM zarIraira gatacetasAma gajAzvasAdibhisa tatra zitabANAtta jIvitaiH || 4-57-8 ||
