जया कषेपणं करॊधकृतं नेमी निनददुन्दुभिः नगरं ते मया गुप्तं रथॊपस्थं भविष्यति ॥ ४-४०-६ ॥
'My bowstring shall serve as catapults and cannons, launching missiles against the besieging foe. My fierce wrath will make this fortress formidable, and the rumble of my chariot wheels shall echo like the kettle drums of thy capital.' ॥ 4-40-6 ॥
