मा भीम साहसं कार्षीस तिष्ठत्व एष वनस्पतिः मा तवा वृक्षेण कर्माणि कुर्वाणम अति मानुषम जनाः समवबुध्येरन भीमॊ ऽयम इति भारत ।। ४-३२-१८ ।।

sanskrit

'Do not, O Bhima, act rashly. Let that tree remain standing. Thou must not perform feats beyond human measure with that tree, for if thou dost, the people, O Bharata, will surely recognize thee and say, ‘This is Bhima.’' ।। 4-32-18 ।।

english translation

mA bhIma sAhasaM kArSIsa tiSThatva eSa vanaspatiH mA tavA vRkSeNa karmANi kurvANama ati mAnuSama janAH samavabudhyerana bhImò 'yama iti bhArata || 4-32-18 ||
