भीमाश च मत्तमातङ्गास तॊमराङ्कुशचॊदिताः गरामणीयैः समारूढाः कुशलैर हस्तिसादिभिः ॥ ४-३१-३ ॥
'Then, the terrible elephants, maddened with rage and ridden by skilled warriors on both sides, were driven forward with spiked clubs and hooks.' ॥ 4-31-3 ॥
