अपरं दिवसं सर्वे राजन संभूय कौरवाः अष्टम्यां तान्य अगृह्णन्त गॊकुलानि सहस्रशः ॥ ४-२९-२८ ॥

sanskrit

'And Susarman set out on the seventh day of the dark fortnight to seize the cattle. Then, O king, on the eighth day that followed, the Kauravas too, accompanied by all their troops, began to seize the cattle by thousands.' ॥ 4-29-28 ॥

english translation

aparaM divasaM sarve rAjana saMbhUya kauravAH aSTamyAM tAnya agRhNanta gòkulAni sahasrazaH ॥ 4-29-28 ॥
