[वै] अथ राजा तरिगर्तानां सुशर्मा रथयूथपः पराप्तकालम इदं वाक्यम उचाव तवरितॊ भृशम ॥ ४-२९-१ ॥
'Vaishampayana said: O monarch, the mighty king of the Trigartas, Susarman—possessed of countless chariots and repeatedly humbled in the past by Kichaka the Suta of Matsya, aided by the Matsyas and the Salyas—now saw the moment as opportune. Without delay, seizing upon the occasion, he spoke these words with great urgency.' ॥ 4-29-1 ॥
