हरियमाणा तु सा राजन सूतपुत्रैर अनिन्दिता पराक्रॊशन नाथम इच्छन्ती कृष्णा नाथवती सती ॥ ४-२२-११ ॥
'And, O king, as the faultless and chaste Krishna—who lived under the protection of her lords—was thus being dragged away by those sons of the Suta clan, she cried out in anguish for her husbands’ aid.' ॥ 4-22-11 ॥
