दत्त्वा याचन्ति पुरुषा हत्वा वध्यन्ति चापरे पातयित्वा च पात्यन्ते परैर इति च मे शरुतम ॥ ४-१९-५ ॥
'I have heard it said: Those who give may come to beg, those who slay may themselves be slain, and those who cast others down are in turn cast down by their foes.' ॥ 4-19-5 ॥
english translation
dattvA yAcanti puruSA hatvA vadhyanti cApare pAtayitvA ca pAtyante paraira iti ca me zarutama ॥ 4-19-5 ॥
