वैडूर्यान काञ्चनान दान्तान फलैर जयॊती रसैः सह कृष्णाक्षाँल लॊहिताक्षांश च निर्वर्त्स्यामि मनॊरमान ।। ४-१-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'As a courtier in the service of that high-souled monarch, I shall dwell at his side. There, on elegant chessboards, I shall move ivory pawns—white, red, blue, and yellow— guided by the fall of black and red dice, delighting the king with my skill in play.' ।। 4-1-21 ।।

vaiDUryAna kAJcanAna dAntAna phalaira jayòtI rasaiH saha kRSNAkSA~la lòhitAkSAMza ca nirvartsyAmi manòramAna || 4-1-21 ||
