सर्वे च ये ऽनये धृतराष्ट्र पुत्रा; बलप्रधाना निगम परधानाः सथिताश च धर्मेषु यथा सवकेषु; लॊकप्रवीराः शरुतकालवृद्धाः ॥ ५-२-६ ॥
‘Let him also pay respects to all the other sons of Dhritarashtra, to all renowned for strength and learning, devoted to their duties, heroic, and well-versed in the signs of the times.’ ॥ 5-2-6 ॥

sarve ca ye 'naye dhRtarASTra putrA; balapradhAnA nigama paradhAnAH sathitAza ca dharmeSu yathA savakeSu; lòkapravIrAH zarutakAlavRddhAH ॥ 5-2-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतेषु सर्वेषु समागतेषु; पौरेषु वृद्धेषु च संगतेषु बरवीतु वाक्यं परणिपात युक्तं; कुन्तीसुतस्यार्थ करं यथा सयात ॥ ५-२-७ ॥
‘When all these persons are gathered, along with the elder citizens, let him speak with humility, offering words that serve the interests of Yudhishthira.’ ॥ 5-2-7 ॥

‘Above all, let them not be provoked, for they have seized the kingdom with a strong hand. When Yudhishthira possessed his throne, he was led astray by gambling and was dispossessed of his kingdom.’ ॥ 5-2-8 ॥

‘This valiant Kuru, this descendant of Ajamida, though inexperienced at dice and warned by all his friends, challenged Suvala’s son, the king of Gandhara’s adept, to the game.’ ॥ 5-2-9 ॥
