अगस्त्यॊ ऽथ मतङ्गश च कालॊ मृत्युस तथैव च यज्वानश चैव सिद्धाश च ये च यॊगशरीरिणः ।। २-८-२६ ।।

'Agastya and Matanga, along with Kala (Time) and Death, As well as the accomplished ascetics and those with perfected yoga bodies.' ।। 2-8-26 ।।

english translation

agastyò 'tha mataGgaza ca kAlò mRtyusa tathaiva ca yajvAnaza caiva siddhAza ca ye ca yògazarIriNaH || 2-8-26 ||

अग्निष्व आत्ताश च पितरः फेनपाश चॊष्मपाश च ये सवधावन्तॊ बर्हि षदॊ मूर्तिमन्तस तथापरे ।। २-८-२७ ।।

'The Agniswattas, the ancestors, the Fenapas, the Ushmapas, And the Swadhavas, the Verhishadas, and others who have formed.' ।। 2-8-27 ।।

english translation

agniSva AttAza ca pitaraH phenapAza còSmapAza ca ye savadhAvantò barhi Sadò mUrtimantasa tathApare || 2-8-27 ||

कालचक्रं च साक्षाच च भगवान हव्यवाहनः नरा दुष्कृतकर्माणॊ दक्षिणायन मृत्यवः ।। २-८-२८ ।।

'The divine Lord Havyavahana, the wheel of time itself, Men who commit sinful deeds, are guided towards the southern path by Death.' ।। 2-8-28 ।।

kAlacakraM ca sAkSAca ca bhagavAna havyavAhanaH narA duSkRtakarmANò dakSiNAyana mRtyavaH || 2-8-28 ||

कालस्य नयने युक्ता यमस्य पुरुषाश च ये तस्यां शिंशप पालाशास तथा काशकुशादयः उपासते धर्मराजं मूर्तिमन्तॊ निरामयाः ।। २-८-२९ ।।

'Those who are under the watchful eyes of Time and Yama, In their abode, they worship Dharmaraja (the lord of righteousness), With the leaves of the Shami and Palasha trees, And also with Kusha grass, and others, untainted and pure.' ।। 2-8-29 ।।

kAlasya nayane yuktA yamasya puruSAza ca ye tasyAM ziMzapa pAlAzAsa tathA kAzakuzAdayaH upAsate dharmarAjaM mUrtimantò nirAmayAH || 2-8-29 ||

एते चान्ये च बहवः पितृराज सभा सदः अशक्याः परिसंख्यातुं नामभिः कर्मभिस तथा ।। २-८-३० ।।

'So numerous are they that I am incapable of describing them either by mentioning their names or deeds.' ।। 2-8-30 ।।

ete cAnye ca bahavaH pitRrAja sabhA sadaH azakyAH parisaMkhyAtuM nAmabhiH karmabhisa tathA || 2-8-30 ||
