हतेषु भारतेष्व आजौ कुरूणां गुरवस तदा एवं सामानि गास्यन्तीत्य उक्त्वा धौम्यॊ ऽपि गच्छति ।। २-७१-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'O king, this learned Brahmana signifies that when the Bharatas fall in battle, the priests of the Kurus will similarly chant the Soma mantras for the departed souls.' ।। 2-71-22 ।।

english translation

hateSu bhArateSva Ajau kurUNAM guravasa tadA evaM sAmAni gAsyantItya uktvA dhaumyò 'pi gacchati || 2-71-22 ||
