कृत्वा तु नैरृतान दर्भान घॊरॊ धौम्यः पुरॊहितः सामानि गायन याम्यानि पुरतॊ याति भारत ॥ २-७१-२१ ॥
'And, O Bharata, the wise Dhaumya, with his passions fully controlled, holding Kuśa grass pointed towards the southwest, walks ahead, chanting the Sāmaveda hymns that invoke Yama.' ॥ 2-71-21 ॥
