हाहा गच्छन्ति नॊ नाथाः समवेक्षध्वम ईदृशम इति पौराः सुदुःखार्ताः करॊशन्ति सम समन्ततः ।। २-७१-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'And the citizens, overwhelmed with deep sorrow, repeatedly cry out, 'Alas, alas! Behold, our protectors are leaving us! Shame on the Kuru elders, who, driven solely by greed, have foolishly banished the heirs of Pandu as if they were mere children.'' ।। 2-71-23 ।।

english translation

hAhA gacchanti nò nAthAH samavekSadhvama IdRzama iti paurAH suduHkhArtAH karòzanti sama samantataH || 2-71-23 ||
