'The Kauravas are fortunate not to have incurred your wrath. Depart in safety, blessed by my prayers.' ॥ 2-70-6 ॥

भाविन्य अर्थे हि सत सत्रीणां वैक्लव्यं नॊपजायते गुरुधर्माभिगुप्ता च शरेयॊ कषिप्रम अवाप्स्यसि ॥ २-७०-७ ॥
'Good women do not allow their hearts to be overwhelmed by inevitable misfortune. Guided by virtue that surpasses all, you will soon find good fortune.' ॥ 2-70-7 ॥

सहदेवश च मे पुत्रः सदावेक्ष्यॊ वने वसन यथेदं वयसनं पराप्य नास्य सीदेन महन मनः ॥ २-७०-८ ॥
'While living in the forest, keep a close watch on my son Sahadeva. Ensure that he does not despair in the face of this great calamity.' ॥ 2-70-8 ॥

'And as she went away weeping and wailing Pritha herself in grief followed her. She had not gone far when she saw her sons shorn of their ornaments and robes, their bodies clad in deerskins, and their heads down with shame.' ॥ 2-70-10 ॥
