'After speaking these words, King Dhritarashtra, wise and reflective, realizing the gravity of the situation and aiming to save his kinsmen from ruin, began to console Krishna, the princess of Panchala.' ।। 2-63-26 ।।
[ध] वरं वृणीष्व पाञ्चालि मत्तॊ यद अभिकाङ्क्षसि वधूनां हि विशिष्टा मे तवं धर्मपरमा सती ।। २-६३-२७ ।।
'Addressing her with compassion, the king said: 'O Princess of Panchala, ask for any boon you desire. You, who are devoted to virtue and the foremost among my daughters-in-law, deserve it.'' ।। 2-63-27 ।।
'Draupadi said, "O bull of the Bharata race if thou grant me a boon, I wish that the virtuous Yudhishthira, who is ever obedient to duty, be freed from slavery."' ।। 2-63-28 ।।
'Let not those who are unthinking refer to my son Prativindhya, endowed with great energy and having been raised among princes, as the child of a slave.' ।। 2-63-29 ।।
